The audio Production Process involves

• Project Direction: Audio engineers and artists work with clients to determine project needs.

• Pre-production: A storyboard (outline) is created. This plan for all recorded sounds gives you a sense of how you want the final audio to sound.

• Recording/Production: Audio is recorded, including music, noise, dialogue, and narration.

• Edit and cleanup: Next is editing. This stage adjusts the levels of various sounds, removes unwanted noise from the recording, and converts the analogue signal into a digital recording.

• Mixing and post-production: A mixing phase may follow an editing phase. Mix all recorded tracks to create a stereo or surround soundtrack for distribution or broadcast.
