Custom Input Forms

Today, creating custom checkboxes, radio buttons, and toggle switches are possible while remaining semantic and accessible. It's easier these days than it used to be. It doesn't require a single line of JavaScript or additional HTML elements. The app primarily collects data through forms. 

You can edit these input forms to suit your business needs or create input forms for your reports.

Input forms contain one or more components. An input form can contain the following types of input components:

• A static layout component. Provides a container for placing UI, labels, and text boxes. 

• Form input component. Allows user input when instantiating a report—for example, checkboxes and drop-down boxes.

• Data component. You can include dynamic elements in your report's user interface. These dynamic elements can retrieve data from the database and change input elements based on conditions such as expressions and switch statements. 

• Custom report component. You can define a standard combination of input items and use that combination of input items in multiple report input forms. There is no need to create a combination of input fields for each input form. 

For example, consider a typical login form.

There are several fields where the user can enter information such as name, email etc. My old website was just plain, tedious HTML forms with no style. That was before CSS changed everything. You can now use the latest CSS features to create more exciting and vibrant forms.
